Yo, me again. I feel like I’m letting you guys down by not posting but I am currently working on my other passion.., webdesign under the name of Your SiteDesign. Why am I telling you this..? To be honest I don’t really have a reason, I’m just itching to design and build something phyiscal instead of IT based.

I started a project a few weeks back which should eventually become a CNC lazer table. I didn’t really consider documenting it but I think now that you maybe interested in the out come. Who knows, I may even do it under an Open Source Licence so you can build one yourself.

What will it do???

It will be an X-Y table which uses a laser to burn a target material in a set pattern. Nothing special but it’s a start. It will involve stepper motors, lasers, sensors, serial communications and more.
